How is kefir useful for a diet?
This drink contains healthy milk protein that is easy to digest. In addition, kefir contains vitamins A, C, PP, H, group B, fats and carbohydrates, natural sugars, valuable elements - chlorine, calcium, potassium, selenium, fluorine, cobalt, sulfur, iodine, zinc, phosphorus, iron, molybdenum, copper, magnesium and acids (fatty and organic). The composition is quite impressive - it immediately becomes clear that the drink is really healthy.
But in addition to these valuable substances, kefir contains lactic acid and beneficial bacteria. They are the ones that help with digestive problems, prevent the development of fermentation and decay processes in the stomach, remove harmful substances and restore the microflora in the gastrointestinal tract. That is, kefir has a huge positive effect on the digestive system. And this is very important for losing weight and for the health of the body as a whole.
What is this product more useful for? It facilitates the work of the heart as it is quickly and easily absorbed, strengthens nails and teeth, improves the condition of the hair, relieves (which is especially valuable in case of prolonged stress), relieves chronic fatigue, helps in the treatment of kidney disease, anemia, eczema.
In terms of weight loss, it is not in vain that kefir is included in the diet. The drink not only improves the digestive process and removes deposits of harmful substances in the intestines as well as removes excess fluid, it also improves metabolism and helps in not feeling hungry. Kefir diet menu: three options
The menu kefir diet is of course very diverse. But we offer three popular and not too hungry options. In any case, for a diet it is better to choose a drink with a fat content of 2, 5%. Low fat kefir is not so useful and after eating it you will get hungry faster and 3, 2% of the drink will make it hard to lose weight as it is a little fat.
The kefir buckwheat diet is designed for 4-5 days. It is very monotonous, but you can reduce the weight significantly and you do not have to starve without this diet. You can only eat buckwheat, vegetables, fruits, honey, homemade yogurt, dried fruits and herbs, and you can drink water and kefir. A glass of buckwheat should be steamed in the evening with boiling water, and in the morning the water should be emptied and there is porridge, rinsed down with kefir. One liter of drink is allowed per day.
Here is the diet menu:
- in the morning: buckwheat with kefir, apple;
- snack: dried fruit;
- lunch: buckwheat, vegetable salad and kefir;
- afternoon snack: yogurt with herbs;
- dinner: salad, buckwheat and kefir with cinnamon and honey.
As you can see, the menu is very boring, but the result will delight.
Kefir-fruit diet is designed for no more than three days. You can eat any fruits and vegetables and you can also drink two liters of kefir a day. It seems that the menu is not very varied, but if you get creative with the menu, you can prepare many interesting dishes.
Here is an example of a diet menu:
- breakfast: salad of cucumbers and tomatoes as well as peppers, kefir;
- snack: fruit salad (eg apples, oranges, bananas);
- lunch: vegetable soup, carrot or cabbage, kefir;
- afternoon snack: baked apples;
- in the evening: vegetable stew, kefir and fruit cocktail.
The menu is not at all hungry or as boring as in the first diet, but if you want variety, choose the next option.
The diet is calculated for three weeks. You can eat any food except sugar, potatoes, pastries. You can only eat wholemeal bread, no more than two slices a day. Dairy products must be low in fat, meat and fish must be lean. One liter of kefir should be drunk a day, and an additional 500 ml can of course be water, green tea or compotes without sugar. The salt must be cut. Eat six times a day and preferably at the same time.
Here is a rough diet menu:
- in the morning: oatmeal with banana, kefir with cinnamon;
- snack: nuts or fruit;
- breakfast: soup, bread, chicken or fish, salad, compote or green tea;
- afternoon snack: cottage cheese with fruit;
- dinner: scrambled eggs or vegetable stew, kefir.
You can compose the menu at your own discretion, the most important thing is to remember the rules of the diet. It is easy to lose weight on a three week diet because the feeling of hunger does not bother you at all.
Recipes for health and beauty
What can be prepared from this product? Various baked goods, of course. But it is not suitable for a diet. You can also prepare soups, sauces, jellies and cocktails on kefir. These dishes are really diet. Therefore, try recipes for simple kefir dishes for health and a slim figure.
Okroshka on kefir
Boil the potatoes in their uniforms (three pieces) and cut them into cubes. Cut two fresh cucumbers and three boiled eggs into cubes. Grate five radishes, chop green onions. Mix everything and pour in kefir and mineral water (proportions to taste). Sprinkle with dill and salt.
Soak a tablespoon of gelatin in half a glass of water. When it swells, it heats up to dissolve the gelatin. Then cool. Add half a liter of low-fat kefir, a third of a glass of sour cream (you should take the product with the lowest fat content), the same amount of sugar and vanilla. Beat everything well for four minutes. Pour into bowls and refrigerate. Such jelly should of course not be eaten every day, it contains after all sugar and sour cream. But once a week you can treat yourself.
Grate three sweet apples on a fine grater, pour 400 ml low-fat kefir. Whisk everything well. Then add cinnamon and honey to taste and whip again. Cocktail recipes can be different because not only can fruit be added to kefir, but also berries (strawberries, blueberries, blueberries, raspberries) as well as vegetables (cucumbers, peppers) and herbs.
Recipes for dishes with kefir can also be varied, the most important thing is to choose healthy and low-fat dishes. As for the diet on this product, it is worth trying if there is no gastritis or ulcers (this is a contraindication to the diet).
